“Two in a row couldn't get any better. I got the first position right in the first corner, and you know, I couldn't ask for anything better. Everybody's helped me get to this point… Mickey Thompson Tires hooked up, gave me the drive right away. I mean nobody else even had anything else for me. SuperLite Series is putting on the best of the best,” said Person.

Person’s wins this weekend were the first of his SuperLite career. His dominance at Speedworld was a remarkable turnaround from his 10th and 12th place finishes in rounds one and two, landing him in the hunt for the overall points championship with 12 races remaining in the season.

Anderson, piloting the Walker Evans Racing truck, snatched a third place finish in round three and a second in round four, securing his grip on the overall SuperLite Championship Series points lead. Anderson launched into the season with a round one victory and a third place in round two.

“We’re happy to finish on the podium all four out of the four rounds,” said Anderson, who is also sponsored by SoCal SuperTrucks and Polaris. “As far as the championship goes, it was a good step.”

Anderson said he was looking for a better finish at Surprise, but a combination of poor qualifying times and a couple of small mental mistakes on the track kept him from racking up another win.

“I felt like we had the truck to win, but [Jacob Person] just caught better breaks than we did,” said Anderson.

Greaves drove the Torchmate truck to second place in round three, while George piloted the Monster Energy/Kawasaki machine to a third in round four.

Greaves, who was selected as Dirt Sports Magazine’s 2010 Rookie of the Year, has proven to be a consistent threat on the SuperLite series. George took the second place in the series championship last year.
