In one of the fiercest battles to take to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, the SuperLite Championship Round 15 race at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona delivered epic racing action that not only served as decision day for the season points champion but also lifted two rising motorsports mavens atop the podium. Having rallied momentum that built from a third place at LOORRS Round 6 and second after Round 14, the young Austin Kimbrell out raced series veterans to land a huge season-ending first place finale to his rookie SuperLite career. Following by a scant thousandth second deficit, Kyle Lucas captured second behind the wheel of his Lucas Oil SuperLite machine. Season standout and points contender R.J. Anderson earned third.
Revving up for the final round of off-road racing in the 2011 SuperLite Championship series, a three-way standoff remains amid the season's top three performers. 2011 LOORRS Round 9 & 10 Points Standings

After an eight-round stranglehold on the points chase that ignited with his Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 1 victory, R.J. Perseverance. And you couldn't get away with saying Ricky James is all heart. Because amid a myriad of accolades, he boasts enormous talent in whatever he takes on. He's a natural. He's Ricky James. Back in 2005, while riding for the notorious Honda of Houston, James was 17 and at the top of his game, quickly becoming the next amateur motocross champion. But during the MX national at Lake Whitney, Texas, James suffered a crash that broke his back and left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. That didn't stop him. His career continues, heavily engaged in motorsports as well as endurance sports, mixing up NASCAR with his career strategy in the SuperLite Championship.

During this morning's practice run for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 5 SuperLite Championship Arrive & Drive Truck race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada, drive Chad George seized fast lap in the No. 42 Monster Energy / Kawasaki Racing / Funco Motorsports race truck. George logged an average speed of 49.891 miles per hour with a time of 1 minute, 19 seconds on the 1.1 mile off-road race course.

Ricky James jumped into the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 5 and Round 6 weekend by earning the top slot in Friday's practice at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charging hard to rival the competition by over two seconds in qualifying time, James piloted his SoCal Super Trucks machine to fast lap in lap three, touting an average speed of 51.064 miles per hour and a time of 1 minute, 17 seconds upon the 1.1 mile off-road race course.

The stage was set this weekend for Ricky Jamesto make his off-season claims a reality by piloting his SoCal SuperTrucks SuperLite towards a winning sweep, but that was not to be at Rounds 1 and 2 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Race Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
