Undoubtedly one of the best shows of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series' showdown in the dirt, the SuperLite Championship has unveiled some epic short course action from a colorful collection of personalities, giving the stadium truck a life and style all its its own. Heading into Surprise, the BFGoodrich Tires-backed Patrick Clark had proved himself by racking up a nine-point lead in his championship quest. But the full-course brawl of Arizona cut down Clark's rank, delivering another series standout to the lead.

Wyatt Kirchner rose from a stacked 15-truck SuperLite Championship field to take Sunday's victory, for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 8 race on the nine-tenths-mile Miller Motorsports Park race track in Tooele, Utah on June 26, 2011. Kirchner clutched his first career win, racing the Bull Outdoor Products truck for General Tire. Reigning season points leader, R.J. Anderson, behind the wheel of the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine, secured second upon the podium, while Dawson Kirchner, racing the Torchmate CNC Machine truck, captured third.

2011 LOORRS Round 7 Main Event Results

Patrick Clark shot into the front of the 15-truck SuperLite Championship pack to take Saturday's win for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 7 race upon the new nine-tenths-mile Miller Motorsports Park race track in Tooele, Utah on June 25, 2011. Shoveling roost and never letting loose of his dominant position via his BFGoodrich tires, Clark clocked the race's fastest lap during his lap 12 perforfmance with a time of 47.927 seconds and a speed of 67.603 miles per hour. R.J. Anderson secured second for Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks. Piloting the Kawasaki Teryx, Monster Energy Drink athlete, Chad George, charged into third atop the podium.

Jessie Johnson

Patrick Clark

Patrick Clark remembers the day his racing career went off road. The 20-year-old, who cut his teeth racing go-karts and then moved into drag racing, climbed into the cockpit of SuperLite truck piloted by off-road legend Chuck Dempsey. And at some point on that Salt Lake City track in the summer of 2010, with dirt flying and horsepower humming beneath his feet, Clark became a SuperLite racer.

Marty Fiolka

A lifelong enthusiast of off-road motorsports, Marty Fiolka raced his first Baja 1000 in 1992 and recently completed his 10th race. A graduate of University of California at Long Beach, he formed the Rennsport Marketing Group in 1995 and executed public relations programs for Nissan, Infiniti, Exxon, Mitsubishi, and SCORE International. In 2005, Fiolka authored “1000 Miles to Glory: The History of the Baja 1000,” and was the associate producer of Dust to Glory, a Baja documentary.
