Team driver Andrew (ACP) Comrie-Picard works fulltime as a top rally car driver, precision driver, auto journalist, and television host. Growing up in rural Alberta, Canada, ACP began racing BMX bikes at age 8 and, by age 10, he was experimenting with the family's farm trucks. Rally driving came naturally; he is now among the top drivers in North America, and a podium contender at any race he enters. ACP began rally car driving in European competitions while a student at Oxford University in the UK and continued when he returned home to Canada after graduation. Although ACP began his professional career as a Big Apple entertainment lawyer, he soon abandoned the tried-and-true career track to race full-time. His first rally car was an ex-factory Lada, but he soon moved on to Mitsubishi rally cars. Early in his career, he snagged both the Novice and Open class championships in the same year. Nobody else has done that before or since. In 2006, his team was one of only 12 from around the world invited to the high-profile X Games Rally in Los Angeles. He returned to the prestigious contest in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, he will return for a fourth time to the X Games, and is striving for the triple crown of rally car racing: the Canadian, U.S. and North American rally championship titles. He will also compete in select drifting events and Lucas Oil short-course truck races. ACP divides his time between Toronto, Canada, and Los Angeles, CA.
