That's the man behind the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. What's Tony Vanillo up to? Well, we were wondering the very same thing. And we were shocked, honored and sincerely grateful to hear the latest addition to the LOORRS hardware stockpile and the thoughtfulness behind it. Tony commissioned a highly sophisticated podium to be built. Equipped with a wheel chair friendly ramp and hydraulic lifts for each of the three positions, LOORRS custom-built this one-of-a-kind podium with SoCal SuperTrucks SuperLite driver Ricky James in mind, who is no stranger to victory.

Ron has 25 years of hard-core racing and outdoor adventure experience. He brings a genuine love of adrenaline and all things extreme to this project and pushes each adventure to it's limits. As Ron says, "We don't just push the envelope, we move the post office!" Starting at a young age, Ron began a long and varied career of competition with BMX bike racing. He traveled with the national circuit for several years until his success in non-motorized racing naturally led to the much faster paced and cranked-up world of MotoCross. Racing and winning into the mid-90's, once again Ron's adventurous spirit led him to try something new and he began to race cars on the oval track. He started out as the brake-man in train cars- A crazy demolition race where 3 cars are linked together bumper to bumper. The lead car has the gas, the middle car is empty and the tail car has the brake. The lead car and tail car do not communicate with each other as they race on a crisscrossing figure 8 track.

There's no doubt Brandon Ward was born with the drive for high stakes competition in his blood. Perhaps it's due in part to his dad being Jeff Ward, who ranks ranks up there as one of the most versatile motorsports champions of all time, but he holds his own when tap dancing on the rev limiter, working his way away from the pack on the race rack. Whether racing supermoto, motocross or at home behind the wheel of his SuperLite Championship Truck, Brandon carves the berms and launches the jumps, racking up top finishes in the SuperLite Series.

When it comes to fast lines and good looks upon the podium, Corry Weller stakes claim to an impressive array of credentials and strikes a presence that is difficult not to notice. She's adept at taking on the competition behind the wheel of a SuperLite truck as much as she is behind the handlebars of a Yamaha YFZ450R ATV. And in the world of UTV action, Weller has won numerous victories in desert racing and upon the MX track.

Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series announced that the August 7th and 8th, Southern California event, will be held at the legendary Glen Helen Raceway. The landmark facility in San Bernardino, California, has an extensive history of off road and motocross racing while hosting a multitude of national and international events.
