Ricky Johnson

Ricky Johnson is a legend, plain and simple. The man has met U.S. presidents. He's an inductee of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. And he's one of the most honored Motocross and Supercross athletes of all time. He made a name for himself in the 1980s as one of the great racers of all time and his record speaks for itself: 61 AMA national wins, seven of which were national championships.

2009 LOORRS Round 10 Results

Chad Leising racked up a SuperLite Championship victory during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 9 race at the .99-mile Speedworld Off Road Park in Surprise, Arizona on October 18, 2009. With his win, Leising ended the two-race win streak of Ricky James, who finished second, piloting the SoCal SuperTrucks machine. Dawson Kirchner drove his Speed Technologies truck to a third, while teammate Chuck Dempsey earned the fast lap of the race with an elapsed time of 54.485 seconds and speed of 65.412 miles per hour, finishing fourth for his race day in the dirt.

2009 LOORRS Round 9 Results

Ricky James, on a three-race win streak in as many race as he's entered in his SuperLite career, raced the SoCal SuperTrucks machine to a SuperLite Championship victory during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 9 race at the .99-mile Speedworld Off Road Park in Surprise, Arizona on October 17, 2009. Once again, James earned the fast lap of the race for the second time in a row with an elapsed time of 1 minute, 00.776 seconds and speed of 58.642 miles per hour. James dominated the race, delivering the win with over an 11-second gap over the competition. Dawson Kirchner captured second in his Speed Technologies race truck. Speed Technologies teammate and Baja 1000 champion, Chuck Dempsey, landed onto the third slot for his podium performance.
