SiriusXM action sports talk radio icon, Jason Ellis, will make a no-holds-barred appearance on the Totally Off Road Radio Show this evening with Jim Holthus and co-host Dave Arnold to discuss his SuperLite Championship effort behind the wheel of the Hart & Huntington-backed Dethrone Royalty Racing truck this season. The live talk radio show, which begins at 5 p.m. this evening on KCAA 1050 AM, will also feature NASCAR's Robby Gordon, who is staged to make his Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series debut this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway.

Ellis, while live on The Ellis Show, wagered Chad Reed to take James "Bubba" Stewart at the Supercross finale in Las Vegas last week. Ellis won the bet. Bubba wrecked on the whoops. And with that, he became the master of The Daily Habit's host, Pat Parnell, who Ellis owned. While riding with friends and family just north of San Felipe, Baja California last Friday for the annual Desert Assassins Rip To The Tip adventure ride, SuperLite Championship driver, Jeff "Ox" Kargola of the No. 2 General Tire truck, died at a San Felipe hospital after succumbing to injuries sustained during a dirt bike crash on a high speed whoop section. “Words can’t express the emotions I am feeling," said Desert Assassins boss and former SuperLite Championship driver Cameron Steele. "I love Jeff like a son, and he was riding with all of his best friends he grew up with in San Clemente.”

Determined, fearless, and unstoppable are three of many words used when Chad Leising is spoken of in the off-road world. Chad is about as grassroots as it gets, but his story isn't one you'd expect. Unlike many of his competitors who come from generations of racing, Chad grew up playing community sports and didn't step foot in the desert or even own a dirt bike until his later years in high school.

During this morning's practice run for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 5 SuperLite Championship Arrive & Drive Truck race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada, drive Chad George seized fast lap in the No. 42 Monster Energy / Kawasaki Racing / Funco Motorsports race truck. George logged an average speed of 49.891 miles per hour with a time of 1 minute, 19 seconds on the 1.1 mile off-road race course.

With standard SuperLite truck frontrunner Ricky James out with a concussion following a shunt in practice Saturday morning, it was Brian Deegan in the #38 Rockstar / Metal Mulisha machine who took the lead and never let loose.

As rounds 3 & 4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series rapidly approach, the staff at Speedworld are in full swing, making improvements and preparing for another blockbuster event.
