The Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Southern California switches its upcoming March 10th race from its new Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park to Glen Helen Raceway. The June 9th race originally slated for Glen Helen Raceway will be moved to the highly touted Lake Elsinore track.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series has relocated the first event of 2010, March 6th and 7th, to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.Lucas Oil Executive Vice-President, Bob Patison spoke on the move to the new off-road racing facility in Las Vegas.

By bolstering impressive support by such off-road aftermarket performance parts manufacturers as ReadyLIFT Suspension and Magnaflow Exhaust as well as mainstream household newcomer CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) will pay out over three quarters of a million dollars in purse winnings during the 2010 season.

The are major changes pending in the world of short course off-road racing action, and we're grateful to be at the helm and making major headway in the realm of off-road motorsports competition. Corona, California – Today, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series released a revised 2010 schedule featuring a brand new location and updated race dates. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, host to a variety of top tier professional motorsports including NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing, will be the site of races on May 22nd and 23rd and November 6th and 7th. These Las Vegas events will be held on a completely new and unique track to be built in a joint effort between the facility and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series officials. The November date will also coincide with the annual SEMA show where the series has been invited to return with their large outdoor vehicle demonstration on the Toyota Proving Grounds.

Rob Naughton powered his truck to a SuperLite Championship victory during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 13 race at the 1-mile Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex in Lake Elsinore, California on December 12, 2009. Naughton earned the race's fast lap during lap 10 with an elapsed time of 1 minute and 8.479 seconds and speed of 52.571 miles per hour. Behind the wheel of his Monster Energy / Kawasaki SuperLite truck, Chad George charged into second place. Dawson Kirchner piloted his Speed Technologies truck to a third.

Ricky James once again raced the SoCal SuperTrucks machine to a SuperLite Championship victory during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 8 race at the 1-mile Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex in Lake Elsinore, California on July 25, 2009. James drove to his second consecutive win in as many SuperLite career races, earning the fast lap of the race with an elapsed time of 1 minute, 14.128 seconds and speed of 48.565 miles per hour. John Harrah piloted his Speed Technologies truck to second. Chad Leising charged into third place to make to earn his place upon the podium.

Ricky James raced the SoCal SuperTrucks machine to a SuperLite Championship victory during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 7 race at the 1-mile Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex in Lake Elsinore, California on July 25, 2009. Dawson Kirchner delivered his Speed Technologies truck to second. Andrew Comrie-Picard (ACP), the famed Formula DRIFT drifting champion, North American Rally champion and ESPN television host, took a third after his performance in the dirt. Chad Leising laid down the fast lap during his lap 7 performance with a speed of 51.543 miles per hour and elapsed time of 1 minute and 9.845 seconds on the Southern California race track.

John Harrah delivered his truck to the SuperLite Championship winner's circle during 2009 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 6 truck racing at the 1-mile Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex on June 28, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. Harrah laid down a huge six-second gap in his Speed Technologies truck as he crossed the finish lap, earning fast lap on the day's performance with a speed of 49.797 miles per hour and a time of 1 minute, 12.294 seconds. Joe Granatelli finish second and Chad Leising third for their day in the dirt.

Chad Leising raced his truck to a SuperLite Championship victory during 2009 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 5 truck racing at the 1-mile Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex on June 27, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. Securing his second-consecutive SuperLite win, Leising secured fast lap for the race with a speed of 48.446 miles per hour and time of 1 minute, 14.309 seconds during lap 10. John Harrah piloted his Speed Technologies-backed truck to a second, while Brandon Bailey took third for the day's performance in the dirt.
