Chad George, poised to take the green flag with a 12-point advantage in next Saturday's Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 15 finale at Firebird International Raceway, aims to take home the coveted title, but among the projected 17-truck field of racers, he'll first have to beat fellow championship contenders Patrick Clark and R.J. Anderson.

After an eight-round stranglehold on the points chase that ignited with his Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 1 victory, R.J. Anderson, behind the wheel of the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine, encountered back-to-back DNF's (Did Not Finish) beneath the lights at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, which delivered the lead to Pat Clark in the BFGoodrich Tires-back SuperLite and shook up the position of the three front runners to give Monster Energy athlete, Chad George, second in points behind the wheel of the Yokohama Tires-backed Kawasaki SuperLite truck.

Seemingly invincible and evading the force of adrenaline and experience fueling the field of SuperLites, the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine of R.J. Anderson expands its 2011 SuperLite Championship points lead after its Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 5 and 6 truck performance at Glen Helen Raceway. Anderson, since winning round one at Firebird Raceway, has proven relentless, never letting loose after six rounds of truck racing and extending his lead to 24 points.

To commemorate the life of action sports star and SuperLite Championship racer Jeff "Ox" Kargola, who died last month while riding the Rip To The Tip adventure motorcycle ride in Baja, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, in conjunction with General Tire, the title sponsor of Kargola's SuperLite truck, will launch its two-day race weekend at Glen Helen Raceway with a special opening ceremony to begin at 2 p.m this Saturday. The SuperLite Championship Round 5 main event will immediately follow the tribute.

RJ Anderson launched into the season by taking reigns of victory during SuperLite Championship Round 1 and procuring the initial points lead to the coveted 2011 SuperLite Championship . He's maintained the course and has never let up through four rounds of racing. Piloting the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine, Anderson waltzes from Lucas Oil Off Road Racing (LOORRS) Round 4 at Speedworld Off Road Park after increasing the gap over second place Monster Energy's Chad George in the Kawasaki Teryx truck by another three points. With that, Anderson drops a 15-point gap on the field of adrenaline junkies, as the horsepower of the pack ascends upon Glen Helen Raceway for LOORRS Round 5 and 6 action later this month on May 21 and 22.

CJ Greaves continues to add to his list of accomplishments in his young racing career by receiving Dirt Sports Magazine's 2010 Rookie of the Year Award. The thrash-style driving that exemplifies the pro-packed echelon of SuperLite Championship Arrive & Drive drivers kicked up the ante when $10,000 was tossed into the competition pit for Friday evening's SuperLite Grill N' Thrill Challenge race. The Metal Mulisha General, Brian Deegan, gave the order and as the door-to-door action funneled into the last lap for the checkered flag, his hard core freestyle motocross star Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg broke loose of the pack in his Metal Mulisha / Rockstar Energy Drink truck and piled the cash atop the podium.

SuperLite Championship Arrive & Drive Truck racer Jacob Person outperformed the full field of competitors, qualifying Friday for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 5 with fast lap at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. In lap six, Person logged fast lap with an average speed of 50.416 miles per hour and a time of 1 minute, 18 seconds.
