Anderson took it to the field to come up first in SuperLite Championship racing for the second time this season in Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 5 main event upon the eighth mile Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California on May 21, 2011. Racing the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine and on top of the season points chase, Anderson earned fast lap with an elapsed time of 50.208 seconds and best speed of 57.361 miles per hour in lap five. Patrick Clark secured second. Jessie Johnson snatched third.
