In one of the fiercest battles to take to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, the SuperLite Championship Round 15 race at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona delivered epic racing action that not only served as decision day for the season points champion but also lifted two rising motorsports mavens atop the podium. Having rallied momentum that built from a third place at LOORRS Round 6 and second after Round 14, the young Austin Kimbrell out raced series veterans to land a huge season-ending first place finale to his rookie SuperLite career. Following by a scant thousandth second deficit, Kyle Lucas captured second behind the wheel of his Lucas Oil SuperLite machine. Season standout and points contender R.J. Anderson earned third.

Revving up for the final round of off-road racing in the 2011 SuperLite Championship series, a three-way standoff remains amid the season's top three performers. Chad George, poised to take the green flag with a 12-point advantage in next Saturday's Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 15 finale at Firebird International Raceway, aims to take home the coveted title, but among the projected 17-truck field of racers, he'll first have to beat fellow championship contenders Patrick Clark and R.J. Anderson.

2011 SuperLite Championship standout, R.J. Anderson, who dominated the points chase earlier in the season, battled his way back to a dominant position aboard his Dethrone Royalty / Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine by snatching the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 13 win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and earning the race's fast lap during lap nine with a speed of 52.451 miles per hour and time of one minute and 15.499 seconds. Monster Energy Athlete, Chad George, piloted his Kawasaki-backed SuperLite to second, while season front runner, Brent Fouch, in the Forgiven Energy race truck, tallied his first podium finish in third.

After an eight-round stranglehold on the points chase that ignited with his Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 1 victory, R.J. Anderson, behind the wheel of the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine, encountered back-to-back DNF's (Did Not Finish) beneath the lights at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, which delivered the lead to Pat Clark in the BFGoodrich Tires-back SuperLite and shook up the position of the three front runners to give Monster Energy athlete, Chad George, second in points behind the wheel of the Yokohama Tires-backed Kawasaki SuperLite truck.

TOOELE, UTAH — When the dust settled at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, Sunday two new faces had ascended to the top step of the podium in the SuperLite Championship Series — Patrick Clark positioning himself for a run at the overall points championship and Wyatt Kirchner breaking out as one of the youngest racers to win a SuperLite showdown.

Anderson expands its 2011 SuperLite Championship points lead after its Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 5 and 6 truck performance at Glen Helen Raceway. Anderson, since winning round one at Firebird Raceway, has proven relentless, never letting loose after six rounds of truck racing and extending his lead to 24 points.

Emerging from a family steeped in motorsports, Jessie Johnson is the younger brother of five-time NASCAR champion of the No. 48 Lowes Home Improvement car, Jimmie Johnson. Calm under pressure and climbing behind the wheel of his own Lowes Home Improvement SuperLite, Jessie, like his older brother, has his roots in off-road racing but has amassed experience that extends beyond the dirt. Perhaps his greatest asset is his coach-ability, learning from many, which results in wins.

Standing second in the 2011 SuperLite Championship points chase and upholding the honor of the third generation FUNCO Motorsports legacy, Chad George charges down into the dirt of Glen Helen Raceway for Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 5 and 6 action with a formidable home track advantage and as the face man for the tracks tremendous versatility as a motorsports venue. RJ Anderson launched into the season by taking reigns of victory during SuperLite Championship Round 1 and procuring the initial points lead to the coveted 2011 SuperLite Championship . He's maintained the course and has never let up through four rounds of racing. Piloting the Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine, Anderson waltzes from Lucas Oil Off Road Racing (LOORRS) Round 4 at Speedworld Off Road Park after increasing the gap over second place Monster Energy's Chad George in the Kawasaki Teryx truck by another three points. With that, Anderson drops a 15-point gap on the field of adrenaline junkies, as the horsepower of the pack ascends upon Glen Helen Raceway for LOORRS Round 5 and 6 action later this month on May 21 and 22.

Starting deep in the pack for the final Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series race of the 2010 season and trading paint with drivers who were waging all they had to earn the SuperLite Championship Series crown, but Kyle LeDuc managed to muscle his SoCal SuperTrucks / Rockwell Time truck through the mayhem, foisting his way toward the front. And shortly after the competition yellow unleashed the army of MazdaSpeed Rotary Renesis 13B machines, LeDuc launched into the lead and landed atop the podium.

Building into a powerful motorsports crescendo, the 2010 SuperLite Championship Series funneled down into the finale at the Firebird International Raceway for the season-ending Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series showdown. It was decision day in the dirt. And with an army of world class extreme sports competitors vying for the coveted SuperLite Championship No. 1 plate, a scant 50 points separating the top five, a battle ensued upon the motocross style off-road truck track, and from the mayhem of the competition mosh pit, Rockstar Metal Mulisha’s Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg emerged to snatch the championship, beating out some of the best in the business.

And we were shocked, honored and sincerely grateful to hear the latest addition to the LOORRS hardware stockpile and the thoughtfulness behind it. Tony commissioned a highly sophisticated podium to be built. Equipped with a wheel chair friendly ramp and hydraulic lifts for each of the three positions, LOORRS custom-built this one-of-a-kind podium with SoCal SuperTrucks SuperLite driver Ricky James in mind, who is no stranger to victory.

SuperLite Championship drivers Ricky James and Chad George are taking their high stakes SuperLite Championship game to this evening's SoCal SuperTrucks 1st Annual Open House in San Bernardino, California. The event, which will serve as the pre-party for this weekend's Lucas Oil Off Road Race Series (LOORRS) short course off-road race at Glen Helen Motorsports Park, will feature a multitude of giveaways and special guests, including a live broadcast of the Totally Off Road Radio Show (TORR Show), featuring the latest addition to the SuperLite Championship Arrive & Drive program and special cohost, Jeff Ox Karola.
