The SuperLite Championship launches a robust win purse for the 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Southern California Round 2 race at Glen Helen Raceway this Saturday. The $3,300 cash purse will divide up among the top three positions for the main event with $2,500 going to the winner, $500 to second, and $300 to third. The two-day SuperLite Arrive & Drive package, which delivers a full-service race experience to racers and cross over athletes alike, includes a full day of track testing on Friday followed by qualifying, heat and the main event racing Saturday.

After slinging mud around the test track with SuperLites last week, the small fleet of UTVs Kawasaki recently delivered have fit right into the operation, performing the grunt work in the assigned role of SuperLite Arrive & Drive pit utility vehicles. In preparation for next week's Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Southern California at Glen Helen Raceway and next month's Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round season opener at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, this Kawasaki Teryx 4 cleans up quite well.

Enduring a futile quest to conquer the 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Race Series Southern California opener at Glen Helen Raceway, Kal-Guard Lubricant's Trenton Briley outlasted the battle of attrition that culminated in Saturday's main event, taking home the coveted victory in SuperLite Arrive & Drive racing at Glen Helen Raceway.

The lineup of SuperLite Arrive & Drive machines are now southbound in the hunt for Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Southern California racing action. Loaded up and headed south through the snow to Glen Helen Raceway, this marks the first race on the season's bustling schedule. But not the first test session.

The SuperLite Championship is preparing for the first round of 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series Southern California racing action at Glen Helen Raceway with available full day test session followed by a full day of short course off-road racing on February 17-18.

The SuperLite Championship celebrates the unveiling of the 2012 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series schedule, which debuts its purpose-built Reno test facility as a full-fledged short course off-road race track and features the marquee venue on the motorsport discipline's most heralded date, Labor Day weekend. The coveted stadium-like race course is carved from the dramatic terrain features of the towering Sierra Nevada foothills and will boast unrivaled spectator vantage points.

The hotshot 14-year-old Sheldon Creed cashed in on his A.M. Ortega Structural Engineering Contractor-backed effort and logged his first win in Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series competition during the whopping 17-truck LOORRS Round 14 contest. Austin Kimbrell earned his second class podium by finishing second, while season standout Chad George jumped to the third slot upon the box. Drew Britt seized the race's fast lap in lap eight with a speed of 61.485 miles per hour and time of one minute and 4.406 seconds.

2011 SuperLite Championship standout, R.J. Anderson, who dominated the points chase earlier in the season, battled his way back to a dominant position aboard his Dethrone Royalty / Walker Evans Racing / SoCal SuperTrucks machine by snatching the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Round 13 win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and earning the race's fast lap during lap nine with a speed of 52.451 miles per hour and time of one minute and 15.499 seconds. Monster Energy Athlete, Chad George, piloted his Kawasaki-backed SuperLite to second, while season front runner, Brent Fouch, in the Forgiven Energy race truck, tallied his first podium finish in third.

Undoubtedly one of the best shows of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series' showdown in the dirt, the SuperLite Championship has unveiled some epic short course action from a colorful collection of personalities, giving the stadium truck a life and style all its its own. Heading into Surprise, the BFGoodrich Tires-backed Patrick Clark had proved himself by racking up a nine-point lead in his championship quest. But the full-course brawl of Arizona cut down Clark's rank, delivering another series standout to the lead.

Digging down into the nuts and bolts of his BFGoodrich Tires-backed Lowe's Home Improvement SuperLite Truck during August's Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) race at Glen Helen Raceway, Jessie Johnson looks to land back upon the podium during the Las Vegas Motor Speedway stop next month.

Chad George brawled his way through to the top of the podium to snatch the season points lead for the first time this year, piloting the Monster Energy / Kawasaki truck in SuperLite Championship racing during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Round 12 at the 1.1-mile motocross-style track of Speedworld Off Road Park in Surprise, Arizona. Sheldon Creed, the youngest driver of the series at 14-years-old, finished second in his first weekend of LOORRS SuperLite racing, while Drew Britt, in his second weekend of racing landed third on the day.

Calm under pressure and climbing behind the wheel of his own Lowes Home Improvement SuperLite, Jessie, like his older brother, has his roots in off-road racing but has amassed experience that extends beyond the dirt. Perhaps his greatest asset is his coach-ability, learning from many, which results in wins.

SiriusXM action sports talk radio icon, Jason Ellis, will make a no-holds-barred appearance on the Totally Off Road Radio Show this evening with Jim Holthus and co-host Dave Arnold to discuss his SuperLite Championship effort behind the wheel of the Hart & Huntington-backed Dethrone Royalty Racing truck this season. The live talk radio show, which begins at 5 p.m. this evening on KCAA 1050 AM, will also feature NASCAR's Robby Gordon, who is staged to make his Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series debut this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway.

To commemorate the life of action sports star and SuperLite Championship racer Jeff "Ox" Kargola, who died last month while riding the Rip To The Tip adventure motorcycle ride in Baja, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, in conjunction with General Tire, the title sponsor of Kargola's SuperLite truck, will launch its two-day race weekend at Glen Helen Raceway with a special opening ceremony to begin at 2 p.m this Saturday. The SuperLite Championship Round 5 main event will immediately follow the tribute.
