The SuperLite Arrrive & Drive test track, which will continue to host its full-day test sessions as well as its off-road racing school, will become a mainstay vacation destination venue for race fans, beginning with next year's LOORRS Round 11 & 12 event weekend.
Looking southward from Reno and undergoing extensive renovation, Southern California's Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex is reintroduced into the LOORRS season schedule after a two-year hiatus. The entirely new race course and its surrounding grandstands will accommodate approximately ten thousand spectators when race day arrives.
With each weekend event on the season schedule representing two unique, separate rounds of racing, 2012 will start and finish at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona. Kicking off the season with Rounds 1&2, the series will return to the facility with championships on the line as well as the winner take all, Lucas Oil Challenge Cup on October 27th and 28th.
Surprise, Arizona's Speedworld Off Road Park will host Rounds 5 & 6 on May 19th and 20th with the series returning to Utah for Rounds 7 & 8 on June 23rd and 24th at the stunning Miller Motorsports Park. The 2012 season will also feature two events to be held in the evening under the lights at both Las Vegas Motor Speedway and legendary Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California. Glen Helen will host Rounds 9 &10 on August 4th and 5th, while a new date for Las Vegas, September 22nd and 23rd, was selected to take advantage of the mild, late summer temperatures.
